Great hotel in Cala Ratjada for a pleasant stay

The breakfast was excellent, with very friendly service. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable.

Some guests are noisy at night when they return to the hotel. The air conditioning works well but blows straight towards the bed. There should be a few more hangers on the wall in the bathroom for towels. Food options during the day would be great.

Beautiful little hotel tucked in a quiet area but close to beach and bars and restauarants,

Breakfast was fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location. Rooms was beautifully decorated.

Room was a bit small and more English channels would have been good. No balcony, but wasnt't essential.

Breakfast was excellent. Different variation of food everyday. Fresh eggs done in different way and amazing fresh orange juice. very friendly morning staff. Location was also very good. Close to everything.

The floor was concrete which was a bit odd. And some things were broken like ventilation in the bathroom and not being fixed during out stay.

good location, nice breakfast and suite

Location wise, Cala Ratjada is acutally a very nice place. Ofcourse its touristy like all of Mallorca, but it feels more like a small town with just enough things to do and places to walk thru and eat at to keep you entertained. Its also near to a lot of nice beaches. Not like the very sad Alcudia which really was just a very depressing long street and a narrow packed beach. We got a suite on the first floor, no mold like others have reported, and we really liked the design of it. Balcony was nice too. Breakfast was, as others have reported, of good quality and came with options such as omelette and pancake plus dairy-free milk if asked for.

Upon arrival we was told that the hotel was over booked and we was offered to stay in another hotel for one night in the neighbouring Cala Millor. Its a bit of a tricky situation to be put in wether to accept it or not, but we did hoping we could benefit from it. Cala Millor is, like Alcudia, another sad place but the room we got was on the top floor with a nice view. That was the only positive thing though. The hotel turned out to be a german charter hotel and even though we got all inclusive the food was so bad it was really embarassing. Back at the hotel we got a suite instead of the double room we booked which was a nice gesture. If you are not a fan of concrete floors its not the hotel for you. also for some reason they made it dirty by design, which made it impossible to see if the floor was really clean or not. If you value super friendly staff its also not the hotel for you (apart from the woman in reception and the dark skinned gentleman in breakfast). The other staff was more low key, wich is not a problem but worth mentioning.

Could have been better!

Good location and facilities. Breakfast was also good. Front desk staff was also helpful and always had a smile and welcoming. Loved the swimming pool as well.

The hotel does not arrange airport shuttle but the place is about 78km from the airport. So if you didn't reserve a car then you will have a little hard time getting there. You'd have to change at least 2 buses, and that is the last thing you want to go through when you're jet lagged. Other had airport shuttle, or at least some information about it. Beyond that, the cleaning staff was horrible to put it lightly. They never bothered to replace bathroom amenities and we had to call the front desk to get replacements. The cleaning was also bad, you could see dust on the bathroom mirrors and staff around and i think they only make up the bed and mop, that's all. No wiping down or anything like that. And some of them were plain rude. They need to talk to some of their cleaning staff! Otherwise, the place is OK.

Nice and new-build hotel in Cala Ratjada

First of all: If one books a hotel in Cala Ratjada one must be aware that it is a rather touristic area with many other hotels, streets and shops. Therefore it is barely possible to meet the requirements of guests who seek absolute tranquility and recreation. However, compared with other hotels in the area this hotel is situated in a more quiet area and provides good sound isolation inside as well towards outside. It was easy to find parking lots nearby. With respect to the hotel staff we can state that each and every single person we got in contact with was friendly and supportive in its very own way. Especially the outstandingly charming and professional receptionist was a highlight for us! The room we had was new, clean, stylish and efficiently equipped. The breakfast was fresh, diverse and varied now and then. The rooftop-area was nice and we even had the chance to watch the football world championship final on the big screen. The center as well as the port of Cala Ratjada is only some minutes away.

Since the hotel is very new we had full understanding that the organization has to overcome typical teething problems. Nonetheless we must evaluate our hotel stay as it was and we found room for improvement regarding following aspects: - The dinner we received as part of our half-board booking was a “dual menu” with each two starters, main courses and desserts of which one could chose. The dishes were basically okay - not too good, not too bad. The same applies for the snacks at the rooftop bar. - The pool was also okay but not too cozy for our taste. There area for example no stairs to enter the pool. - The overall-glass-railing at the rooftop didn’t generate a feeling of privacy and coziness. From our point of view it would be nice to have some plants and flowers to create the idea of being all alone over the roofs of the city. Especially since the view on ugly roofs, generators or balconies is not very attractive. - There were not towel holders in the room which was uncomfortable since during holidays on an island one creates of course lots of wet laundry.

Over priced hotel for the location and for the 4 stars

The breakfast was good enough

When we ckecked in our superor room, i found on the floor, near the bed, a plastic from an internal pad for women and i when i anounced the reception, a very rude woman told me that they don t have cleaning personal after 3 o clock. After i insisted enough to clean our room, they found somebody to do the job. The view from the hotel is in the rooms of the opposite building on the street. The bathroom glass is very dirty and nobody cleand it during our 4 nights stay. Nothing good about this hotel except the breakfast that was fresh and tasty. I do not recommend.

Amazing stay with great location

One lady that worked there was amazing, she was such a sweet-heart. The other ones were also nice, but not as kind as her! The location of this hotel was amazing, you can reach 3 beaches by only walking 10-15 mins and also the main shopping/bar/club-area is only a few minutes away! Hotel room was very clean and we had a nice balcony, even though we haven’t booked one. Bathroom was also nice, just keep in mind, that the door is made out of glass and has a gap in between wall and glass, so if you’re traveling with a new partner... he will hear everything.. But our stay was amazing! Breakfast was also very delicious. Not too big, but they had everything that you need

Wifi didn’t work sometimes, but besides that I have nothing negativ to say.
